Mofoyin Couture et Tissus ("we," "us," "our") operates this website and the products and services available through it, including our ready-to-wear collection, fabrics, and bespoke custom-style ordering. This policy explains what personal information we collect from everyone who uses our platform — visitors, customers, and account holders alike — how we use it, and the choices you have.

We are based in Montreal, Quebec, and this policy is written with Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), in mind.

• Order and shipping information: delivery addresses, order history, items purchased, and quantities.
• Custom order details: information you provide when requesting a bespoke style or quote, such as measurements, fabric preferences, or design notes.
• Cart activity: items you add to your cart, so it's saved between visits while you're signed in.
• Push notification data: if you opt in, a device/browser subscription token used to send you order and account-related notifications. We do not receive any other information from your device through this feature.
• Technical information: standard information such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically as part of operating a website securely.

We do not collect or store your payment card or PayPal login details. Payments are processed directly by PayPal under their own privacy policy and security standards — we only receive confirmation that a payment was completed, along with the amount charged.

How We Use Your Information

• To process, fulfill, and deliver your orders, including custom/bespoke pieces.
• To create and maintain your account, and remember items in your cart.
• To communicate with you about your orders, account, or support requests.
• To send push notifications you've opted into (for example, order status updates).
• To calculate applicable taxes and delivery fees based on your province.
• To maintain the security and proper functioning of the website.
• To comply with legal and tax record-keeping obligations.

We do not currently run an email newsletter or marketing mailing list. If that changes in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before adding you to any marketing communications.

Push Notifications

Push notifications are entirely opt-in — your browser or device will ask for your permission before any notification can be sent. You can withdraw this permission at any time through your browser or device settings, which will stop all future notifications from us immediately.

Who We Share Information With

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers necessary to run the platform, specifically:

• Supabase, which securely hosts our database and authentication system.
• PayPal, which processes payments directly and independently of us.

Mofoyin Couture et Tissus is a single-brand store — all products are our own, and we do not operate a third-party vendor marketplace, so your information is never shared with unrelated sellers.

We may also disclose information where required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request from a Canadian authority.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy — including order history, which may be kept longer to meet Canadian tax and accounting record-keeping requirements.

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect your information, including secure, access-controlled database infrastructure. No method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
